The Hebrew Bible, the Social World of Ancient Israel, and Ancient Near Eastern History

The Hebrew Bible has been used as the framework for reconstructing our historical viewpoint of ancient Israel, and the area's archaeological data have been interpreted by reference to it. I am interested in the historical reliability of the HB and in the role of archaeology in writing the history of ancient Israel.
