Modern and Contemporary British and North American Christian Theology, Quaker Studies

Through focusing on Quakerism in historical and systematic theologies, my PhD from University of Birmingham, U.K. traced the conceptual changes of self in Quaker history. It also showed the limitations of the self-contained character of liberal Quaker faith today. As an extension of this, I’m currently studying liberalism in British and North American Christianity, encompassing its future prospects in terms of self and communality, together with its historical developments to date.
