Chishio MIWA, Associate Professor

ChishioMiwa-AssistantProfessor

My research focuses on the history of Kirishitan and Protestant Christianity especially the Meiji~Taisho era in Japan.
In addition, I am also interested in the transition of "death" and "funerals" in the history of Japanese Christianity, as well as the process of generating memories and historical narratives regarding "martyrdom".
